CERN facility near Geneva has constructed a massive 17 mile particle smasher .. Oops that's really long Isn't it? Now to get into the technical stuff This particle smasher is used for smashing protons at amazing speeds nearly the speed of light, exactly about 99.99999% the speed of light. So whats the big idea behind this?
This Smasher namely LHC- Large Hadron Collider will try to emulate the conditions immediately after The BIG BANG. Ya thats Rite. Doing so they try to find new particles like gravitons, etc. Lets wait till the LHC becomes operational. Will keep u all informed
